Lily Street Escarpment Restoration - Stage 9

Revegetation of the Maribyrnong River Floodplain

Melbourne Water River Health Incentives Program

This stage of the project will continue the weed control program and planting of trees and grasses.

Our corporate and VIP days will be at the Lily Street site for the tree planting and
Maintenance along the river site will continue all year.


The Wednesday working bees will continue with planting and maintenance on this Warrick Court Avondale Heights site.

Brimbank City Council

We have been funded through the Brimbank Community grants to continue our work at Caroline Chisholm Reserve in Flora Street, Keilor. We will have planting in 2018 with the students of Keilor Primary school on Wednesday and weekend. Dates will be confirmed in February 2018.

We also support the National Tree Day planting in Sydenham Park. National Tree Day is the only day we are allowed on the restricted site so bring along the family and enjoy the fun of the day.

Moonee Valley City Council

We work at the Tea Gardens Car Park site, the Ed Garden site, Canning Street Reserve and at other locations as required. All of these sites will have our Wednesday working bees doing maintenance and tree planting.

Maribyrnong City Council

Tuesday working bees are on our assorted sites including Pipemakers Park in Van Ness Ave.

The Maidstone Riparian Site off Lacy Street and the Braybrook Escarpment Site off Sedge Close, Burton Reserve at the end of Burton Cr. and Burndap Park, Edgewater.
